THE NO-GO ZONE.

The No-Go Zone is the area extending from in front of the pitcher's mound to home plate. This area is off limits to everyone except the pitcher. The pitcher can, at most, advance half the distance between the mound and the plate. This means that the short stop, first and third base players must stay BEHIND the plane of the pitcher's mound. The catcher must also stay behind the plane of home base. The No-Go Zone applies until the ball is kicked. Once the ball is in play you can run anywhere you would like. Heck, you can run home and get a beer if you want.

The No-Go Zone also applies to the Kicker. The Kicker is not allowed to cross more than one step beyond home plate. I will call back a play and talk to anyone that is in gross violation of this guideline.
